Battle System HELP!!

Hey guys, i love using RPG Maker XP, but i want to know how i can change my battle system..
I've seen games and screenshots, where instead of going into that whole battle screen, you just like attack monsters by pressing a button..
Like any other RPG / MMORPG, something like Runescape, just run up to someone and start attacking them, without any turns..

Any help here guys?

Although you can make your own battle system with events, you'll probably want to find a script.  I'd recommend you browse through the Script Analysis forum for battle systems and choose one you like to put it into your game.

k ive been trying to search for the last little while, but i dont know what that kind of battle system is called??!

For most scripts, you paste the script in a new slot above Main in the Script Editor.  The creator of the script will include instructions if that's not the case.

While enthusiasm is a great thing, I would suggest that you first try to learn RMXP to it's basics before attempting to insert brand-new features. The program wasn't designed for these scripts, and making use of the efficiently can be difficult. Just a tip for your own good.

i just DOWNLOADED a thingy on a script page..
What do i do with this..
It gave me a demo which i played and it was a demo of the ABS in action... But like do i move like the .dll file or something???

You need to go into the script editor of the demo and find the custom script and then copy it into your own project.  Depending on the system, you may need to change some other things, too.  Just make sure you understand the script instructions before trying to use it, and you should be fine.
