Bad framerate

When I play any RMXP game I get really bad frame rate...I'm guessing it's my computer cuz I have choppy frame rate on World of Warcraft too (that's like the only other game I play on this computer). Is there any way I can fix this without getting a new computer? Like are there any programs that somehow help this? I can play emulators okay, with hardly any trouble...and I found it weird that I can play Super Nintendo games but not these RMXP games that aren't that much more demanding than SNES games (at least that's what I assume...and I am a idiot soo...lol).

LOL I understand, I'm in the same situation! My computer is good for trash now.:p I don't think you can solve this problem without buying a new computer. However, there's a frame skipping script somewhere in the Submited Script section which is pretty useful to me! It does not solve the problem, the cpu is sill slow. But it gives the feeling your playing at a higher frame rate.

Try searching for it. I hope it will help you!

Take care!

Just make sure that when you press F1 in an RMXP game, that "smooth mode" is NOT selected (this tries to make it run at 40 fps).

Not much else you can do. RMXP games probably take up significantly more processing power than an SNES game; that's because they're made from a game-making GUI and aren't completely hard-coded, which usually ends up being very inefficient.

You could try reformatting (if you know how to do that)...that's about the best you can do to get the most speed out of your machine.

Hmm... I always have "Smooth Mode" on.

It makes the game much smoother ^_^ (Ner!)

Seriously, it really helps the gameplay a lot ^_^

Unless you have a slow computer... I dont, so I wouldnt know ^_^
