Back on Top: Part II

I won't make another thread about stats, just wanted to say this:

Last month you might remember we'd finally managed to attain joint 1st place in "the RM community". Well, thanks to all your efforts, for August 2010 we beat the 1st place by more than three thousand posts, continuing to rise in activity.

Feb 2010 5757
Mar 2010 ~5794
May 2010 ~5794
May 2010 9840
Jun 2010 6471
Jul 2010 15122
Aug 2010 15938

Call me obsessed if you like; I just find it exciting and cool that we're finally active again. We'd died. We're now not dead. Times are good.

Thank you for everyone who puts time and effort into the site and thank you for keeping us the best place. I know numbers don't mean a lot but I genuinely think we have the most productive and most friendly community out there.

We are still nowhere near our prime - the times of RMXP.net and early RMXP.org - but that is obvious. Back then, we were the only site, at least the only active site.

If anybody is interested, this is the tally for monthly posts, or a snapshot:

Awesome Bro

Not fucking bad, lol.

Although I think it'll start dying down a little from here since everyone is going back to school/college/uni, but meh, you'll have to do one at the end of October (Everyone will be in their respectful stages of education by then, since some people don't start back until mid september) and see if we've dropped at all.

The clincher is if we die down more than the other sites. Every site fluctuates, with the summer and school and shit, but there's no reason why we should die more than anywhere else does. Especially since our site is made up more of college students and actual workers, whereas the others typically have a more school kid userbase; you'd expect school kids to all disappear come the school period. Although I guess college makes you less active than school does.

Idk, it's complicated.

Regardless, even if we were the least active site we'd still be cool, we're all friends here.
