Astralojia: Movie 1 of 12
Astralojia: Movie 1 of 12 is an experimental film, inspired by classic shounen jump manga like DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, etc… It may just be an attempt to remember the days in where anime, manga and video games were about expansive fantasy worlds, and adventures through deep mystical lands, a little more gritty, a little less polished and more underground.
It’s something that I have worked on for a long time, and literally hammered together tooth and nail, completely from scratch, with the tools I had lying around.
It’s a new form of entertainment I call a “FilmComic”. The goal of the new form is to draw sketchy, pencil graphics, and as a result to allow more of a focus on story and sound. I’ve been working with extremely cheap tools, and the project has gone through a lot of rocky phases due to many life issues, but my hope now is that enough people will at least check it out, so that I can keep going with it and tell the rest of the story.
I’m going to leave the link here to the website which includes more info, including the full feature length film for free. Many thanks if you do decide to watch it all the way through! Make sure to tell us what you think here: Astralojia [@] gmail.com or within this topic.

Synopsis of Movie 1
In the world of Astralojia, magicians compete using martial arts, and the four elements of astrology: fire, earth, wind and water, in school and in competitive events. Only the most talented and strongest of all magicians have a shot at making it into the pro leagues.
With hopes and dreams of becoming a famous professional magician, Takuto must work his way up through the ranks to gain such fame and respect. He quickly finds out that there are many talented foes, all with unique powers and styles of fighting, that await him.
One Last Thing...
One last thing...I don't want anyone to feel obligated to watch this if it isn't their cup of tea. I am just looking to entertain artists, whether you be a visual artist, composer, voice actor, etc... that would have the extra time and be able to gain inspiration from this work.
I thank you for your time,
Mark Hans Avon
