Artists: Invaluable Reference Composite!

http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm

Here is a site that was created by a very skilled artist. He doesn't tell how HOW to color or shade, he shows you WHY. Very invaluable and rare find indeed!
It's a site that explains almost everything about coloring. With colors! and words, and stuff.

Heres a quick dive through of what is to come!

Terminology
* Hue - Variations in color. Skin has hue variation, such as cheeks being rosy.
* Saturation - How much color there is. Neon colors are very saturated.
* Value - Brightness/darkness, as if it was greyscale.
* Read - You can see what it is.
* Radiosity, ambience - reflected light - When light is reflected of a surface and then hits something else. In a green room everything will get a green hue for example. Radiosity is a 3D rendering term for the whole phenomenon. I use reflected light for sources I can trace, and ambience when the light has bounced around an entire scene mixing with everything.
* Speculars - Dots of light that appear on glossy surfaces. Light generally is broken up by small bumps in surfaces, so it doesn't matter much where you stand, the surface will look almost the same from different directions.
* Flatten - Removing unnecessary texture and values.
* Form - The 3D shape of something.

Aw, sweet, I've been looking for Prometheus' site for a long time now. He used to post at a forum I used to go to, but that site went down and I couldn't find the URL. This guy really knows how to get lighting done, that's for sure. Thanks for the link!

This thread will now be for posting useful resources for artists in the form of tutorials and the like. I will contribute what I have, and you should do the same if you come across anything you find to be particularly useful.

Here are a few that I've accumulated over time:

General Drawing Tips (deviantArt Link)
This tutorial makes some good points.

Cedarseed's Tutorials and Illustration Series ( deviantArt Link)
Another one from deviantArt, Cedarseed's tutorials are more technical in nature and assist in drawing from life and general human anatomy and body types. These tutorials are quite advanced and are a wealth of information.

Sumaleth Link Archive (Link)
This is a huge repository of links dealing with 3D, 2D, Traditional and Digital art. This archive is quite large, but these days some of the links aren't working anymore. In any case, this site has a bunch of interesting tutorials and such everywhere.

Anyone else?

Here's a big ol' list that someone posted on 4chan's /ic/, so I figured someone would find it useful. Some links may have already been posted, but...
