So here's a breakdown of last week:
On Tuesday night around midnight (so actually Wednesday), I had a minor asthma attack because I'm an idiot and I tried using up some of the scented deodorant that bothers me.
On Wednesday my grandma went in (my mom with her) to get a colonoscopy done to make sure her cancer hadn't come back. They didn't see any signs that it had (thank heavens!), but I also got a call that they had an opening for Friday for me to get my wisdom teeth removed. All four had to come out and it was scheduled for Wednesday, but woo hoo sooner is better! \o/ I had moved most of my savings (except what was required to keep a savings account and a little extra) to my checking so that I could pay upfront because I don't have a credit history and I can't get a credit card of any kind.
I got into a fight with my boyfriend because he had plans for the weekend and was all upset that I wanted him to come up to be around during and after I had surgery on my mouth. We resolved it eventually and I picked him up on Thursday.
On Thursday afternoon I was told that the company I work for had sold and they were only able to keep a certain number of people. One of those people was not me.
On Friday I went in to have my wisdom teeth dug out (3/4) and removed. It went alright, but I react to neither anesthesia, pain, nor being dizzy from pain medicine very well and I spent the rest of the day vomiting up everything I attempted to eat until I got a bit of a piece of bread down in the evening. But my parents helped me with payment more than they had originally planned to, which was VERY much needed and appreciated. <3
So, now that I have no job, I'm going to apply for unemployment and start job searching again once I can speak without jaw pain. I'll be working on my own random stuff and trying to help out a little while I'm here since I have enough free time for my hobbies again. :P
I'm actually kind of excited about this opportunity. I can kind of start again. I was getting paid very little at a job that was half an hour away and I wasn't planning on changing jobs because it was acceptable, at least. So now I'm hoping that I'll be able to find something closer that pays more. :3 So uh... hi again! xD I feel like an attention hoe for making this thread, but I needed to vent a little and I feel less suspicious when everyone knows why exactly I'm here.

Sorry to hear things kind of suck, but it's good that you're looking at it as a new beginning.
