Anyone play Monster Hunter?

I have. A lot. Ever since I first picked it up at a Gamestop several years ago, I've been hooked off and on. Between Monster Hunter (PS2), Monster Hunter Freedom (PSP), and Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (PSP), I've easily logged in 2500+ hours. Does anyone else play? If you wanna see what it is, I'd recommend you check it out on Youtube or Google.

My stuff in MHF2:
HR4
350 Hours (Played the least of the three)
Full Rathalos Soul
Weapons such as Onslaught Hammer and Smolder Dragonsword, along with some weaker, yet useful, weapons.

I played Monster hunter Freedom 2 on my psp for a little while. Then I began to realize that once you get to a certain point in the game, the monsters you hunt for are too strong to kill by yourself. you really need a friend to help you. and since none of my friends had it, i quit playing. I really liked the game play alot though

i liked running around in the bone pants or whatever that thong underwear was called.  they even made a thong for the male characters and i'd run up ladders before everyone else just so they could seem my man ass

I've also logged about the same. For me, this game NEVER gets old.

I've got 2 HR 6's in MHF2, and 3 HR5's in #1. I played this game alittle too much.

thread made me pop in mhf2 yesterday and i managed to roll in another 10 hours in one night/morning on accident.

Anyway...

I just restarted my Monster Hunter Freedom 2 file. :3

I sometimes play xLink.

I used to, until my dad decide to be all like "lolwut?" and sell my router that SUPPORTED xLink. Now we're stuck with some prehistoric Linksys BEF model. w00t. And I don't think he'd let me buy a new router/ wifi MAX. But eh, my brother and a friend play the game, so at least I can still experience online play... sorta.


On a dick move note, does anyone here get EGM? 'Cause if so, this month they had a small section on MHF2G's coming to the U.S (and I'd imagine the U.K, no clue though) and mentioned that it will have online infastructure mode... if you have some FUCKING PS3 hook-up thing, meaning I'll STILL be playing ad-hoc. Goddamnit Cpcom.

good god why not just give it standard wifi connectivity? its the absolute most popular psp tile on the planet, and it would save a lot of people a lot of time and money  by not having to use that incompetent wifi max (which i own, but i have to do waaay too much to get it to work, and it chokes the rest of my connection).

and the damn khezu has kicked my ass three times now. i maul him with an iron striker, but every time im about to kill him, he just runs off. :{

Yeah, I know! If the freaking DS can do it, this, which has a fucking INTERNET BROWSER BUILT IN IT, should.

Anyway, as for the khezu, paintball him so you know where he's at. Whenever he stands not doing anything at all, that means he's about to fly to his nest to sleep, which i believe is... area 3. By now I'm guessing you know his attack patterns, but just by the way, depending on your armor, you may want to just avoid him when he enters rage mode (faster/stronger attacks and movement, blue gas coming from mouth).


EDIT: also, I just looked at  your Zombi Fight Club thread- it sounds freaking sweet. Looking forward to it =D.
