Any possible way to stop a character from dying ?!

I'm using an Action battle system and I have everything working perfectly, but I can't seem to stop the gameover when my summon dies. Is there anyway possible to do this? I've tried everything I could think of to stop this, but I'm not getting anywhere.
 
Thanks! I checked the script out and found the switch for it. It's brought up another problem though...

I can summon the monster and when it dies, the party returns, but the summoner can't use the skill anymore. I set the skill to only require 4 SP.and I should be able to use it again, but I can't.
 
I figured it out now. Basically. When the summon is Ko'd, you can't use him until you heal him. In my game, that would be at a save point or maybe an item or something.
