basically Im just going to spurt game ideas that will never get done but whatever. This is one of them.
Concept Background Plot
Okay then. Its somewhere on the future and the new york is the new capital of the United States. The U.S. has reverted and is now going through a dark age. Everyone lives in New York City because there isn't any land to farm or really any cattle to eat as there was a previous nuclear war. NewYork surprisingly is the only city left in the east coast and even that got hit.
With lack of food and supplies and stuff, the place has become a hub of crime and whatnot. Men compete for control over the remaining food companies and drug companies. Women never got as high as men in terms of equality (which is rather sad :c). After the dark ages, this idea that men are better, stronger, and smarter took over.
Men were in a constant power battle. Any potential man could be a threat. First the bigwigs started hiring people to kill any child before they grew up and became a threat; however this way wasn't efficient in resources and time. Instead a drug cartel named Cerva researched a genetic disease that could eliminate any potential male from even being born. What it did was change chromosomes making it almost impossible for women to conceive a boy. Instead, a girl would be born. This eliminated any poor man. If you are a man, you aren't living in poverty.. Even so, there were still constant power struggles over big companies and stuff.
Women on the other hand lived in the slums and were considered poor. They lived in the slums looking up at the rich, towering sky scrapers. The only way a woman could live up there is if a man chose you. If not, you were considered a rat and lived in the slums for the rest of your life.

You (a lady) and three other ladies go off on an adventure to find the four crystals and save the world from evil. o;

Important Groups/Lore
Corporations
CERVA: A drug company that specializes in producing the drug Mydair. Its in a constant rivalry with FREEDNA. Came up with the disease YCHROM. Headhoncho has a formidable force of cartel and army.
FREEDNA: Another drug company that specializes in the drug Pyra. Not as big as CERVA however is gaining popularity. Specializes in more tactical attacks and assassinations more than brute force like CERVA.
Mydair: A drug produced by CERVA that caused hallucinations. It is injected into your neck area. Its much like X.
Pyra: A drug produced by FREEDNA. Taken in pill form, it causes endorphins. Much like a mix between marijuana and alcohol.
NMPA: National Meat Packing Association. Meat is a rare commodity. Usually meat is made from dead human flesh or factories meant to harvest humans for meat.
WRI: Woman Reproduction Inc. Works with NMPA to produce women used for harvesting meat. Women are injected with fertilization that allows them to get pregnant. Typical rate of labor is once a month per each woman. Usually produces an average of 3 children per woman every month.
P. and Co.: Potatoes and company. Potatoes are the easiest thing to grow. Very aggressive when it comes to competition.
APA American Police Academy. Police hired by companies to do bidding and keep the peace. Highly trained and well known.
Diseases
YCHROM: Disease that only affects women and reproduction. Allows for only girls to be born when a woman is fertile.
VACHRA: A disease that affects the nervous systems. Constant ticks are common. Within a year of contracting it, one cannot control ticks and system shuts down. Contracted from eating tainted food.
Blood Bone Disease: Disease that causes internal bleeding. Parasite.
Parastit Infection: Infection where parasites eat innards. Contracted from tainted water.
BLANCASERA: Disease that slowly shuts down immune system. Skin becomes pale, eyes being to get cataracts. Limbs begin to limp, hair begins to fall out, and skin eventually deteriorates. Highly contagious
Organizations
WAA: Women's Advocates Association. Group of ladies determined to gain equality for women. Uses peaceful methods. Does not get along with WPA. Supports the RFF.
WPA: Women's Protection Agency. Group of ladies who are fight for equality through forceful means. Believes in using self fertilization.
RFF: Research for Fertility. A group of scientists looking for a cure for YCHROM.
WSA: Women's Supremacy Association. Fights for Women supremacy. Very religious group; highly violable. Believes in using self fertilization. Supports RFF.
Characters
Havent thought of names yet. Will use code names for the time being. I haven't fleshed them out either~
LILY: Poor girl (15) who's mom recently died from an attack from CERVA. Alone, she wanders around before deciding to take revenge.
SHELBY: NMPA escapee (46). After running from death, she seeks her lost daughter who was taken away from her.
GABBY: WAA member and RFF scientist (21). Only survivor of an APA attack. Looking for a way to stop unequality through peaceful terms. Looking for cure of YCHROM.
MAGGY: WSA member (27). Questioned religion and group threw her on a pilgrimage when she was 24. She has devoted herself to the religion and searches for a way to boast the WSA.
