Animation/Dammage

Hello there..

Im kinda new to this program, and was wondering if one with a little more experience could help me out..
Btw im not english, so the spelling might not be perfect..

I have now started to create my game, but there is just one thing i just cant figure out.
How do you make your double and multi hit animations, show multiple dammage numbers.
ex. Spell name: Double Attack, effect = Damage a single enemy two times
the animation seems to work, but it only shows one dmg number :pissed:
If anyone know how to doo this and explain it in a simple way
then that would be very appreciated.

I use the sideviwe battlesystem, so you have to take that in to concentration..
Bye...

btw this post might be in the wrong section of the forum, so if it gets moved/removed/deleted
then i can understand.

This is definitely in the wrong place.  You need to be in the Tutorial Request page.  Or just the Script Request forum.  This is a place to post tutorials, not request help.  Good luck, though.

caviller, we're going to need more information.  Are you using a script for your battle system?  If so, which one (provide a link to the script's topic if possible)?

I moved this to General Support for now.  It may have to be moved depending on whether or not you're using a script, but it doesn't belong in the tutorial section.

Also, it helps to know which maker you are using-- the answer is different in RMXP and RMVX.
Okay, here are some more info..
Im using RMVX, and yes as i said ealyer, i allso use the sideviwe battle script..
I know keylock have some addons that will enable you to do multihits that shows multiple dmg numbers..
But if someone could give me a script with a simple explanation on how the script actually works
then that would be great..

Oh, VX? As I recall, the multiple-hit stuff on VX adds up together as one damage number. I remember doing a spell that hits "3 random foes" and it hits one once and another twice, and one number shows up for each (the twice-hit having about double damage).

However, I've never heard of a multi-hit script before. Sorry.
(Side-view script shouldn't change damage display, however)
