Alright... In my story I have a scene where one of the characters sprouts wings through magic and flies through the roof and off towards the edge of the city... but I have no idea how I should do this cutscene...any ideas?
The simplest method wouuld probably be changing the graphic of the character. You can edit the character to 4 images where a pair of wings grow larger. Then, using a "Set Move Route: Change Graphic" command, change to each graphic and then have a "Wait: x frames" in between each.
After that, you can just use a simple "Set Move Route" for the character to fly away.
I suppose you could make an animation of growing wings yourself in the Database->Animations, but it would be a pain to align perfectly with the character sprite. The "Change Graphic" method is probably the simplest one you can do.
Try "Blocking" the scene (describing exactly what you want the user to see, including the scene change from inside the building to outside, and the scope of each map.)
That would make it easier to recommend a method to get the desired results.
