Okay in rm2k3 i can set the animation type to "continuous" or "fixed dir/continuous" and the events sprite would look animated (like a burning flame etc.). I'm new to RMXP and i want to know how i can, or even if i can, set an event to have a continuous animation.
On the event page, down near move animation, through, etc, there is a checkbox for "Stop Animation". If you check that, the event will use its stepping animation while it is standing still.
realy?... hmmm... Under the "options" tab i have "Move Animations" checked and nothing else. Under the "Autonomous Movement" tab i have- Type: Fixed, Speed: Slow, Freq: Low. Under the "Trigger" Tab i have "Action Button" checked.
No animation yet. Am i missing something?
Edit: OH MY! *hits himself on the head* I didn't listen to what you said i guess. "Stop Animation" got it. thank you. man i'm dumb
