The Death Angel said to be the bringer of death. The of death. The Grim Reaper. The Cript Keeper.
Legends depict this creature as a sythe weilder. Forget Everything you know it.

My name is Kietarou MoriMatsu. I am the Angel of Death. I am a Man of the MoriMatsu Family. Along line of us have come and gone. For all these years, I never knew... I, Kietarou MoriMatsu, Am A Cursed Being. I am the Grim Reaper. Why am I the Collector of Souls? I collect souls for the ones who need them? There are 24 of us? Why am I the 24th? What else? Why are the only two that can know about this is my two best friends? Why they choose me? Why?

Characters

Kietaro MoriMatsu - The Cursed One
~A Boy who loses his Mother before her fate. And his father before her. He is a Hotheaded Boy who always looks for a challenge. He's cursed to an Eternity as a Grim Reaper Because His Family agreed to it in return for earthly life. His curse is also dominate in his right arm. It dominates him from the inside out throughout the game.

sounds a little like bleach from what I know of this anime I've never seen ^^;;. If you need help with events or maybe some scripts just give me the map or the part you need script work and I will help you out

I hate Bleach. I learned about Bleach like 4 days before it came out in the USA. I started my project like a week before that. Bleach totally took my idea. but yeah I'll PM you later. Got MSN?

Well Basically.

Soul Society = Heaven.
Grim Reaper = Soul Reaper
There are differences though. Like There are Millions of Soul Reapers but only one grim reaper. But Thanks for the comments.

Other than that, this sounds downright interesting. I've
been waiting for someone to come up with a game like
this, since I abandoned mine last year.

I'm anticipating this project.

A warning though: I like the idea of voice acting, but if
you're using midi's as music files, you'll fail in blending them
together. second, crappy recording quality can kill the
entire concept of voice acting. And finally, good voice
actors are rare, even at tv stations and anime dubbing
companies.

I also noticed how the name of your main character is
influenced by japanese, while the other characters have
american names.

Add up that the two guys almost exactly look like each
other, and you'll find you've done something very weird
in your character design.

Well Voices aren't going to show up in Dialogue but mostly in Battle. This is because I want the game to be focused around the battle system. It's a unique one. And it's where the main character collects most of his souls.

The Voice Actor for Kietarou is a pretty good one. I mean his voice is a little evil for his age. but He's good at the actual acting in the Voice.

Angelic is still under speculation as I've never heard her voice.

And about the American/ Japanese. Why Can't there be diversity in a High School? It is supposed to be a modern project.

I find it strange how Japanese characters in videogames rarely (if ever) look Japanese. That and your first two characters look really similar, from thier hair to the logo on the T-shirt.

And I thought I changed it enough with the hues, colors, patches, and Hair. Maybe the shirt can be red, and I delete the logo?

The logo is the main thing that makes them look very similar. You may also want to change the hair color a bit on Seth, maybe a bit more redish than brown, for a moment they looked the same to me.

oh really? that's funny, cause most FF characters from FF7 and up looks japanese. especial FFX. and some are even model after real japanese actors/models... and kyo and iori from the king of fighters games are diffenatly japanese. i've seen a few japanese teen that looks like that even hair colors and i mean exactly alike!

Making a surreal story convincing is something completely
different.

And the first two characters really do look too much alike.
If they were brothers, it'd be fine, but they aren't. Maybe
you can look into that.

Well I was sorta talking about the other guys stereotyped comment, but anyway, I don't really like all fantasy. I like the stories that have at least a little of the realness feel as well. I'm not going to change his hair to red because He and Jessica are sisters. I May recolor the outfit though. Any Suggestions? Becasue the characters don't look alike at all. >_> It's just the battlers that do.

Hmm.. I'd do something about the shoes, they look like
exact copies. Other than that, you might want to make
the hair tints differ some more. There's equal darkness
in the characters' hair, and since the second guys
haircut looks like a shorter version of the first ones',
you might want to change that.

I think those are the only two things annoying me.
I like the patchedness of his trousers and jacket,
and its colors are fine, too.

the demos alright but there was some error when I changed the combination, also the title music really REALLY shouldnt be the one rmxp comes with -.- at least make it a negative song or a different slow one. or add a real song or something. Oh and you could probally do better mapping at the school no offense ^^;; Maybe make it more like the size of a real school but make it so you can only go through one section. Making everything in a hallway isnt very realistic...
