Angel of Death Characters

The girl doesn't look quite right but I'm incredibly proud of myself... But please Critique is suggested...

This is the new spriting technique I learned from kicks... It was pretty fun...

Anyway, what should I do to fix the battlers... The Pallete for the 2nd boy WILL be changes due to alot of similarities between boy1 and boy2.

EDIT::: ew... At second glance I think I'll just redo the Girl... completely... ew...

As Mascarpone said, the anatomy is all screwy, so let me analyse in detail for you.

http://img365.imageshack.us/img365/7215/examplebh1.png[/img]

First the area i have marked blue...generaly the neck, if someone has their head that far back it would look extremely awkward and it would actually hurt, basically i can't see that looking right for a fighting stance, but if so the neck would have a more twisted design to it....as you turn your neck that far in real life it twists and folds in a sense.

Next the leg marked green..it is inproportionate of the rest of the body and due to it being on a side view; you would find that the legs are thicker that way, also remember when you flex your leg like that your calf pushes up and sticks out more, i would work on sorting out the actual shape and proportion to the leg which should be easy enough.

And finally the leg marked in red, basically the leg it self is good, maybe thicken it up a little more but only slightly, one problem with the leg is the thigh attaching area, make sure it doesn't go slightly thing at the top asit does, think of the leg as a chicken drummer, but the main problem is the back of the knee area, mainly because the angle of the leg, angle the whole leg at a more straight angle and show extra detail on the back of the leg showing the fold of the legs where the knee bends.

Other than that, good job.

Just redo the girl. Keep in mind that women have a shorter torso and longer legs than men in most cases. Also the belly looks weird. :P
EDIT: Oh wait, that's her back. XD There's proof you should rework it. Try using a reference from google.

First one is good.

Second one has a weird pose. You'd prolly fall on your butt pretty easy if you stood like that.

I think the 1st 2 characters are really good. But the girl has definitely got to change. I'm not saying you have to drop all three characters, but i'm encouraging you to try and draw the female character at an alternate angle.
You should try doing the same pose, but in from view. (it would be alot easier to do.)
You should also have something that supports her left foot too, because you don't want her to have have 1 extra long leg ><
1. For best results, always make a wire frame. Make sure to label joints.
2. Outline body.
3. Remove wires using the eraser tool (if you use paint)
4. Add details.
5. More details....
6. Color.
Sorry about that...
Lol, the signature says arctooper...

Please don't draw my characters... ever....... ever again... sorry but for some reason I really don't like that... I feel violated.... in some awkward way...

away I see but I was really doing that in the first place.... As in Drawing the figure first.... and then coloring... My drawing isn't that great but it looked way better in my sketch... My problem is getting a fighting pose for her.... Regular karate poses (that I know) Don't look right when I draw a female in the pose... (The ones I know would be the Praying Mantis Pose, L stance and most of the tai kwon doe stances) I can draw (to my knowledge) about 6-7/10 one scale... I just can't find a pose that looks good that I can draw.. or don't have trouble drawing...

Wait wait.... how are you going to tell someone to never draw your characters again? arctrooper48 was just trying to help you. You should take the advice. He took the time to try which is something many people wont do. You shouldn't be offended. But yes that pose does not look realistic may I suggest you take a picture of some female in the pose that you want so that you have an exact reference.

I think you did a nice job fixing up the girl, Sasuke.

However something is still off about her face...

I'd like to try to fix it, if it's okay with you.

I don't want to invade your sprite or anything, though, if it's not alright with you.

I know he was trying to help but never draw my character..... ever... He could have used a different person... I really don't know why it rubs me the wrong way but it does... If it was fanart I think It wouldn't rub me the wrong way at all.... Maybe it's the "actooper" at the bottom of the image or something... I don't really kno

I... i guess you can, Atnas. I guess I can stand this unknown feeling one more time. If yours looks better than the new one I post later.... I'll use yours instead of mine....

... How's that supposed to make him feel better?

I know it's for his own good, but he seems to abhor people messing with his characters.

Also, another tip, the first head you drew for the girl is fine, and all you should do is shift the left shoulder back more, and it'll seem more proportioned.
