An odd error... (F1 options in Japanese)

The entire game is fine...

But when I press F1 to choose options, it's in japanese  :dead:
Can anyone say why?

Er... Are you using a translated version? Where did you get your copy? How much did it cost?

Make sure you have the official version of RMXP. If you haven't downloaded it and paid 60 USD it is not!

I've bought a licence for it, and everything...

But it was translated from japanese. The official one errors and bugs up on my PC and refuses to load.

Well if it was translated from japanese... What do expect? It is not fully translated.

And even if the official one is bugging, it is no reason to use a translated one. What bugs do happen? People here may help you out.

Only 1 error so far, and I've stated it.

I'll bug test for more.

And I got this because I really love RPG Maker XP and wanted it. I was paying and I bought the liscence, but program didn't work.

My freind used this and said it was bug free and worked on most things, and it did.

If you're using a translating version, we can't really help you.

But what do you mean the program didn't work when you bought the license?

I wasn't asking for bugs in the translated version, but in the official one. What happens, that you can't use it?
Noone will help you here, if you have a translated version.

It wont load. It gets to the loading screen and goes irresponsive.

I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still nada.
And I downloaded it from both the working links and tried.

The japanese translation works fine, I don't understand why. I think I need to know is there a place to download the official RPG Maker XP 1.01...

The Official version is working, I reinstalled it in a different location.

And Now it doesn't work anymore

Are you sure you have the RTP installed? Maybe that could be a problem.

I have it all installed, the RTP (I've played a lot of games on here before using the program) and everything.

For 1 run of the program, it was working okay. Then it started spazzing again... It wont load and goes irresponsive.

The RPG Maker 1.01 seemed to work before I updated, so once trying to go back I found I couldn't, and the only thing worked was a translation - I still payed with it.
