Hello, rules are rules.
* What is your history with RPG Maker and the RPG Maker Community?
I've been an onlooker for many years, never felt I should join due to the massive amounts of trolls that lurk around every thread. But recently I have felt I should introduce myself and actually contribute what I can to this thriving community.
* What is your field of expertise in RPG Maker?
Well, dabbling around Ruby-Lang was my main objective and I feel I could sustain a small script or two, but nothing equivalent to some members here. Programming was my forté but now the call of composing has definitely caught my immediate attention (Extremely recently) so I've taken it upon myself to learn how to read sheet music, learning piano and acoustic guitar methods and music theory so hopefully within the next few months I may finish a composition and upload it here for critique.
* How did you find the forums?
For the life of me, I could not remember. It's been too long, I've followed quite a few communities, but this has had a prolonged stay in my mind.
* What you hope to get out of the forum?
I hope to gain some great criticism and advice from the more mature members, but also have a laugh on IRC when I get 'round to it.
* What kind of creative talents do you have (outside of RPG Maker)?
I am a games designer for a private company based in the U.K, along with some college lectures on game design principals. I'd say I was moderately advanced with Photoshop, Flash, 3D Studio Max and MS Excel, but now I feel music is calling my name..
* What are your hobbies or interests?
My interests lie in psychiatry, social economics (Even as a loner, I enjoy studying people), world news, learning new things, and so forth. My hobbies entail; Digital art compositions, concept art, electric guitar & piano, cycling, swimming and Muay Thai.
* What kind of music do you listen to?
Mostly classical, instrumental and opera, but if I'm in the mood death metal. I've recently become accustomed to FFVII: Voices of the Lifestream release by OCRemix, along with Chrono Symphonic. Both great compositions which I'd recommend to anyone.
* What level of education are you in? What are you studying in college?
I have a BTEC ND in Graphic Design and a BS in Computer Science.
