Da Time When LA Wuz always on da news. Riots, Crackhead Fights, 7-day Gang Warz. Yeah, dat wuz da shit! Anyway, so even though I liked dat shit, there wuz one thang missin:My hood wasnt on da Map. Capriwood, Los Angeles. Where alot of Gang Wars and Drug Trade ruled whole streets. But in Capriwood,my nig, there wuz always dat sayin:"Get Down Or Lay Down." You had to be rollin in a gang to survive in Capriwood. The Clacc Crips ruled North Capriwood, and the Richy Rocc Crips ruuled East Capriwood. Them two wuz always at it, since they weree rival sets. Da Bloods ruled South Capriwood, and West Capriwood wuz filled with dem oye gangs, The Latin Kings, and 18th Street. But there wuz this one nigga dat didnt choose a side! Naw, nigga didnt run away, whats wrong wit you? Nigga Made a side! Dat's right, I'm talkin bout ma Boy Devon Taylor!

Today's the day I meet Reese Wahington, one of Devon Taylor's old "souljahs", currently locked up in prison. People in Capriwood-no, people in South LA seem to love Taylor, especially Capriwood. What the hell for, though? All he's done is killed people, sold drugs, and pretty much help ruin South LA. They always talk about how O.G. He was, how real he was. But to me, he seems to be just a fake little punk. Perhaps Washinton can prove me wrong.

Date:December 25th, 1989
Crime: Murder(of 10 people), shooting using illegal weapons
Devon Taylor was with his brother,Treyvon Taylor, and friends at a party. When suddenly, A Blue convertible,suspected to be a Crip car, performed a drive-by on Bloods at the party. This provoked a 15-minute shootout, in which Taylor's brother and friends were killed. When the case was dropped due to lack of info. 6 days later, police said that Taylor snapped, vowing to get revenge, saying since the police cant do their job, he'll do it himself. When Police came to check on Taylor 2 weeks later, they were informed by family members that Taylor went off to start his own gang to fight the gangsters who've stolen the lives of his loved ones, as well as others. Although my fellow officers have underestimated Taylor so far, I have a bad feeling in my stomach that this Taylor will soon be a force to be feared.

He held a strong grudge against gangsters for a while, and hoped the police would have justice served. But when the police closed the case because there wasnt enough info., He decided to make his own gang. Taylor and his gang, the Def Ridge Families, would go on in crime history as one of the biggest gangs that couldn't be taken down. His legacy got so large, that the TV show American Gangster, wants to do a show about him. He's currently 32 in the game's present time (which is 2002.)
Mr. Wakeem Wilson
A man who works for American Gangster, he's digging up info. on Taylor for an episode of the show. He's currently interviewing Reese Washington, one of Taylor's souljahs, before he got in jail. Wilson at first believed Taylor was nothing but a fake punk, but got more an more intrigued when he started to hear the full story, which makes him desperate to meet Taylor himself.
Treyvon Taylor
Devon's younger brother, Treyvon was known for his smart mouth. In fact, some people say that the some of the Crip gangsters purposely shot Treyvon because of this.
Jamiel Walker
Devon's friend that was also killed at the party, Jameil was a Richy Rocc Crip. No one knows why didnt the attacking Crips stop shooting when they saw him, which they did, so its believed they were rival Crips.
Rashad Thornton
Devon's very best friend, he helped assemble members for Def Ridge. He helped Devon a whole lot when Devon was depressed, and helps Devon get new weapons and contacts during the course of the game.
Isiah Washington(Not related to Reese Washington)
A businessman who knows Rashad. He'll give Devon various tasks to take out his competition, in return, he'll supply Def Ridge with money.
KeKe Taylor
Devon's sister, she's always in the next drug, which kind of saddens Devon. She tells Devon of whats going on in his old street.
Clifford "Dawggy" Richards
One of Devon's first recruit for the Def Ridge Families. Dawggy's what Devon calls a "dopey", or crackhead. He's a radical gangster, who shoots anything not Def Ridge, and always tries to steal big weapons. Some say the crack's what makes him so crazy.
Haji "Haha" Wakashi
A Yakuza member who operates underground races, he informs Devon of new races and new cars being released.
As of now, this game's status is back to at least 15%. I had to redo the characters, so these are all I have.

Cripcuz
The Crip is one of the oldest Black Ghetto gangs in history. While its original leader got killed, it still remains a Powerhouse in Urban Gangs. Crips are well-known to fight their own sets. Their colors are Blue and White.
The Bloods
The Bloods were originally Crips and various other gangs, but when Crip-on-Crip voilence started, the Bloods were made. Their colors are Red and White.

Yes, this used to be Simple Gears, the game with mechs and rap. But the whole combo was getting frustrating, and it was hard trying to make the game believable. So I sat down and re made the story. Please, I need everyone's help on this. Please critic this.
Also, the characters, and gangs in this game, as well as Capriwood, don't exist. So dont try going to LA to see Capriwood , cuz you'd be really disappointed.
