Apparently this got deleted for some reason the first time I posted it...since the dumbfuck Webbie who did didn't bother to give me any explanation (outright or in PM) I'm just going to repost it.

It's got two mazes I made over the past two days, one is shaped like a skull and crossbones and the other is just...really freakin massive.  Feel free to use as ye please.  I included three versions of each in the RPGMaker file, an easy version with a pretty obvious trail leading you through, one with a harder to see trail and then a hard one where you're on your own.

One idea you could do is maybe use markers of some kind, like skulls strewn about with other bones.  The idea would be to space the skulls apart so when you're standing under one skull you can only see one more skull and you need to get to that one, and then once standing under that one, you'll be able to see another skull, etc, etc.  Then you could have some d00d at some point say something like, "The skulls know the way!" and that would be like a clue on how to get through it.  *nods*

I was thinkin in-game you could have some kind of sequence with like an airship flying overhead, so the characters (and you) would see the form of the maze, then maybe your ship would be attacked by canons or something from whatever castle/tower the maze leads to, forcing you to land at the maze entrance and go it on foot.
 
Hey, that's actually pretty cool looking. I don't know who originally deleted your thread, however the insult can probably be toned down (but they really should have contacted you about just deleting a thread--it's general protocol that we lock/move threads, not delete them [outside Forum Games]).

Anyway, this maze wouldn't work with walls of course, but as a minigame or something it could be fun! It's a clever strategy to get out ... You have to go over the top of the skull and around the eyes, it looks like  :smile:
 
It wasn't deleted, I merged it with the screenshot thread. For some unknown reason it didn't leave a redirection topic even though I told it to.

And guess what else, this "dumbfuck Webbie" isn't above locking your shitty topic instead of trying to move it again. Your original skull RMXP painting thing is in the screenshot topic if you're hungry for replies, sport.
 
Ah well, shit happens.

(Pre-edited specialty maps are generally considered resources though ... Since there's no other place for them--they're not projects nor tutorials. No worries.)
