I read the newspaper. Both NY Times and NY Post. Watch Fox News, NY1 (local news that's fairly 50/50), and PBS late night forums.
I don't think that applies to me, as I just watch it for the opinions - not the facts.

Why do you want to be labeled? Or rather, grouped? It's clear you don't fit either mold, and are very much a moderate. Registered Independant seems the perfect fit for you.
When it comes down to it, your views are yours. And (dear lord this is going to come off cheesy) it's what you believe and your opinions that separate and elevate you as an individual. Be proud of who YOU are, do not place importance on which group you may sort of but not really fit into. Focus on that you have experience and knowledge of what you believe, which is a far better thing than having a political party.

Again, it's not a case of wanting to be labeled, but a case of odd curiosity of wishing to know which side is more weighted on my shoulders. I actually dislike parties, and dislike the whole process involved with picking and voting for candidates. Just if someone says "Oh, your an independent. So your a liberal without a conscience?" I can actually care long enough to agree or disagree.

Objectively speaking, your views place you towards the more conservative Democrat. Pro-choice, firm on separation of church and state, pro gay marriage; these are all benchmarks of the Democratic agenda, which you clearly share.
