AlphaZ and BigZ

His legs seem strangely akin to tree trunks -- making them taper and curve in the appropriate places should be your first order of business.

I'd totally like an AlphaZ that fits the Half Kaizer size a little better, though, and BigZ seems about right. Hopefully this'll develop into a full template like the AlphaZ might do -- A female incarnation and isometric poses will do well there, since people using BigZ can simply use the regular AlphaZ for smaller characters.

In other words, by all mean, continue! I've been a fan of this series of templates for some time, simply because it handles proportions and face shapes a little better than the standard RTP and (in my opinion) the Half Kaizers.

Now that you're moving on into more realistic proportions, however, you should definitely lengthen the arms a little to suit the way the human body is really set up. Unless the White Ties style symbolizes an alien race with different body size ratios, you should stick as close to actual proportions as is possible. It simply won't look right if you knowingly ignore certain laws of proportions.

Wow, that looks pretty good there man :) The only complaint is on the legs. On all the animations (excluding the one where you are looking at his back) His legs look... "funny" It may just be me, and they may look better once they have clothes on them, but here are the problems that I see; On the front facing one the legs of no dimension. They just look too straight, as for the ones where he is facing left/right, it looks as though he has haunches. However, the Back facing one looks beautiful
Overall Very well done!

It looks very good, however im not sure if the size is good for VX, the reason i use Alphaz for vx is that its not too tall, that means smaller tiles and VX lacks on tile space so smaller templates are a better option for VX. so i will keep using Alpha Z as an adult and in battles they will be shown bigger.

I would like to test the whole template in VX to see if im right

No, I'm not ignoring them. I am well aware of the arms being too short. I just want it to fit the length of a White Ties battler's arm. I could make another template with more human proportions with the arms, but I'm still going to keep this one this way as well.

About the legs, I said I would fix that (or try at least) so I'm not just saying "it's the style" and ignoring all human proportions.

Edit:
You know what? I realize that I did that example in like five minutes, but I didn't realize it looked that bad! Holy cow!

And here is the lengthened arms on the front and back views of both sprites.

The lengthened arms look much nicer -- I'm satisfied with the proportions here. I'll wait until the legs are perfected to see how it all comes together, then.

Oh, the belly looks a little round in the frontview -- sort of flour-sack chub. Just make it taper more at the waist and all that.

Man, you should have seen it, though. I never thought you could have a fat one of these, until I started making BigZ. Holy Cow!

Though, you know, it is getting a bit boring. The template is the worst part. All I need to do is get past this and get a few battler templates out there. Then I'll be able to do the fun stuff, right?

just because its an adult version doesnt mean it has to be almost a full head taller, i was the same height when i was 13 as i am now at 25, i think personally its too tall for an average male adult, id say make the teen male come up to about mid-face on the adult, cause a person doesnt grow a foot taller from around high school to full maturity

Yes. If you'd look at the guy with blonde hair in my signature, he is a full head taller than the others (except the angel, who will fit a female BigZ if I ever get to it).
