What'd you all think of this guy? He's my first attempt at anything with my new template.

Is his skin supposed to be Simpsons Yellow?  I don't know if that's what you're aiming for.  Also his forehead is tiny but again maybe that's the style you're aiming for.

Hey,

It doesn't seem yellow to me - but yeah, I don't mind that colour(Unless everyone else does =P)

And I noticed that in the template - Does it look weird? Can't let my subconscously biast opinion get in the way =P

He looks like lemon man, if there was a lemon man.  Maybe deformed Lego man or Sunny-D man.

From the front view I thought he was a lizard!
The movement of the legs look a bit weird. And it all seems a bit too... Square!
Nice attempt though.

He was pointing out that NOBODY would ever move like that. The frames might be OK if you switched the right and left walks and made him a moonwalk guy, but that's honestly it.

Ah I see now. It does need a lot of posture work - try using another template and spriting with that. Getting the Anotomy and Movement right can be the hardest thing possible on templates

you'll have to forgive him he's our resident bitch. We do love him but he's defiantly got rough edges. However he raises a very valid point (you just need to look beneath the dense layers of sarcasm) the walk cycle is really kind of awful and in no way looks like a walking cycle >>
