This is my first test of my band's EP.

It's nowhere near done, I justed to know what you guys thought of it so far :P

looks pretty awesome did u photoshop the drums and guitars in or did u take a picture with them?

Either way I think it looks great can't wait to see the finished version, even though this looks finished to me =D

I'm fairly sure they're photoshopped.

Overall there doesn't seem to be a main focus, unless you have attempted to make that orange tree the centre of attention. I would suggest having the drum kit in the centre, you could leave the two guitars where they are now, but the bass needs a new place to sit as it is very hard to see. After that I'd fix the lighting and you'd be good to go.

Agreed-it needs a focal point.

Also, make it look less photoshopped.  It makes it look tacky and unprofessional.

Just light up the bass. Fix up the leaves, maybe coming off the trees.

Besides that, I love it.

that guitar on the background tree is insanly out of perspective. It's way farther back in the picture then that make it smaller.


unless it's a guitar the size of your aunt.

Made some changes, changed the lighting and removed those stupid leaves  :crazy:

Just go in to the woods and place your instruments next to a tree. Right now, it looks daft because there's no point to it and the lighting is awful.

On the contrary.
The picture symbolizes the opressive nature of our modern society that merely looks on at tragedy and does nothing to stop it.
The yellow glow in the windows is obviously a thematic representation of the hope in our lives, choked out by the swallowing snow of despair.
All in all, it gives a good feeling of postmodernist ennui.
