Airship

It looks more like a gun without a trigger but from what I can see it looks fanciful. Have anything higher-res and less blurry?

Whoa that actually does look like a dragonball; the six-star dragonball to be precise. I do have to agree with Venetia that it's more like a gun. Nice lookin though.

I'll but the original uncolored scan under a cut. Since it's pretty big.

But as for the colored image my original that i colored was a bit smaller.

Heres one the background just to give you a better impression, but if you really need i'll post the smaller one.

Wow, Tass was right, it is the six-star dragon ball! :eek:

The coloured version looks a LOT like a gun. It's less noticeable considering it's floating in midair, but...

lol it's not a dragon ball, but part of the engine that has to do with the fire element.

if you have any suggestion in the coloring to make it look less like a gun, i'm open to hear them, But i'm not up to changing the design. It was drawn by a friend of mine and i love it, plus anything i would draw would be cliche ^^;

hahaha, the airship is good, but it looks more like a Laser Gun with a Dragon Ball haha, by the way, how does the airship land? or is just for sea and sky?

They land in tree like ports, these are usually the tallest buildings in the cities in my world. but there's no landing out in the middle of nowhere... unless you crash.

That fin-thing on the bottom seems a little too disposable to plan a city that much around it, but hey, RPG's don't have to be realistic ;').

Precisely :P Plus, it lacks actual wings and other aspects needed for atmospheric flight balance. But then again, it doesn't have to be realistic, while I would as a player search for info on how it flies like that...

Maybe the engine generates an anti-gravity field that makes the ship float.

Overal: I like the details and the finish, but even overlooking the practical aspects I stil don't like the overall shape that much, the center body keeps too slim and the front is not pointy enough. That however is my personal opinion, nothing worthy changing for :)

The coloring is nice, though I would use more greys or meybe some dark broiwn or copper to look like old metal.

OHH! Cooper! Now theres a fantastic idea. Thats for the color sugestions. Designing costumes and stuff has always been the easy part for me(though not airships... but characters are easy though lol)... but picking colors >_<
