There are some games out there that aren't necessarily pornography, but they also aren't kiddy friendly. I'm thinking of things such as Game of Thrones and whatnot.
I have added the ability to tag a thread or game as [Adult Content] by adding a prefix before the title. If you do so, that content becomes hidden to anybody who has not set their date of birth in their profile.
Does this mean we are now an adult site?
No. Emphatically not. It does mean however we can be accomodating of games that might not get posted elsewhere.
Why can't I tag an individual post?
The intention is certainly not to have NSFW content plastered all over the site and I don't want it to be the case, so all NSFW content should be confined to a thread (or a game).
I don't want to stumble upon adult content.
All adult content is marked with a clear tag now.
So if I use this tag, I can just plaster a thread with nudes, right?
Well, no. Still use [ SPOILER ] tags for anything like that. All the prefix does is stops the content being viewable to people who are underage.
I don't know about you but I wouldn't want to be viewing a game thread and then suddenly get slapped in the face with a pair of.
