So I started learning RGSS about 3 days ago(finally, I've been meaning to get started for months) and after learning most of the basics I decided to try and edit the default menu system to fit my game's 320-240 resolution(which I've also been meaning to do for months). I was doing great until I hit the damned equipment menu!
Basically what I tried to do was remove the help menu at the top, the left menu that shows stats, the possibility to equip shields, and to shrink the item menu down so that it only shows one piece of equipment at a time(so that it'll fit within the screen).
All still pretty easy stuff, didn't even take very long but once I finished I had problems equipping things to the right spots(helmets weren't even showing up, armor was going in the accessory slot and accessories were overlapping the weapons, weapons were perfect though). I looked over Scene_Equip, Window_Equipright, and Window_equipitem numerous times and can't find the problem =/
So rather then just having someone do this for me could someone kinda walk me through how to get my desired results starting right from the defaults? That way I can finish this and learn from whatever mistake it is that I made
Edit:
Oh yeah, working with XP, almost forgot
