Adding character facesets to text

I basically want to know how to add facesets to textboxes so that the people playing the game actually know whos talking better than saying:

So-and-so: blah blah blah....

Use scripting, seriously. Eventing faces for message boxes is one of the most inefficient things to do for RMXP when there are awesome (and simple to use) scripts like UMS out there. It's in the submitted script section.

lol ok...Im pretty sure im gonna use that UMS script...but I have a question...
in there it asks you to find stuff...I know its somewhere in the script section but where do I look for it?

and question 2: How do I figure out stuff like my actor id so I can change the scripts?
 
Right now the UMS is actually bumped to the top thread in the submitted script section.

Actor ID? The first actor in the actor array in the first tab of F9 window is 0, the second is 1, third is 2, etc. (I think? It could also start from 1. Either one of them.) I'm not exactly sure if that's what you are talking about though, since I use a different message script (because I'm too late to change script to UMS which imo is better).

If I understand correctly, the UMS demo has the script in there, and the only way you can access it is by download correct? Theres just one problem, every time I try to download it I get this error message;
