abs script confuzion

I was wondering if anyone had the instructions for using the ams r4 update 2 script. I couldn't find them, I did look.

The specific confusion is that I put the script in the script editor except I don't know where I should put the commands in my game.  Help?

Ah, it doesn't help. The game crashes even with commands in the message box. Quote on quote from dublealex

Umm... you do know the "Postality Knight Edition" is illegal? That's probably the reason there's a problem with your game. We don't support the PK Maker, so I'm afraid you're out of luck unless you pay up $60 bucks for the real program.

No that's what the Alex guy uses. I said quote on quote. (it was his post) I didn't put the quotations right (before so and after default)

If there's anyone that uses this script and use the regular rpg maker xp can you tell me how you applyed it correctly? Thanks

Oh, sorry, didn't see the quotes (you should use [ quote] tags for better results next time).

Dubealex uses PK? Where does it say that?

Anyway, you can use one of nahchito's links or also try ccoa's UMS, that's also a good one (find it at another site or just google it).

I have the commands, but for reasons unknown, I can't open up any of the demos. (First version incapability and then can't read hero data) The commands are listed for Slipknot's script. I figured if I couldn't get the demo started, I could just know the commands that were listed. I tried calling script and entering the commands, example: "Name box: you can draw the name of someone in a small box above the message window. \name[text]" So I entered \name(Shadow) in the call script dialogue box and the game wouldn't even run. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and it's harder to figure out if I can't get a demo started. (Sighs), sorry for the frustation.

Oh, you're not actually supposed to put it in a Call Script, but the Show Text command itself.

Example:
