I've only recently installed RPG Maker VX 30-day trial and so far, I don't think I'll be in a willing position to buy it after they run out...anyway, every time I plant a tree and mountain on grass or another type of floor, a sort of greyish-brownish ring appears around it...I read the Contents Help but it says and it says you can hold shift to get rid of shadows (which I assumed was what it meant by those brown mud-like rings) but when you do that - let's say you made some mountains or grass - they have no edges. I'm sorry about this; I knwo I'm rubbish at explaining. If you can understand what I'm on about however, I'd be thrilled if you could help me out!

EDIT: I seem to have used the wrong grass! I'm so stupid! Thanks, I no longer need your help!

that happens more often than you think :D everyone does it

some people edit grass tiles to get rid of brown ring. might want to search for that

Just a note, when it talks about shift getting rid of shadows it refers to the "3d" objects such as walls, where it casts a shadow to the right (if this is VX we're talking about).
