.org was at one point held in your highest esteems?

I think a main page would help the community focus on more than just the forums, seeing as to how many don't visit the wiki or upload to the DLM. I believe that having a main page would ultimately allow members who don't normally see things such the javaIRC or the blogs to be able notice them easier because the people in question might be more inclined to explore the navbar, rather than immediately scrolling down to whatever their favorite forum is.

What's the point to a site? As it is, everyone just goes to the forum. I know sites with main pages, I never go there, just to the forums.

Because sites with main pages include the bold idea but with a site like rmxp.org it's kinda hard not to not know what it's about.
