Hi!
I'm ambitious about my new game. I can draw pretty well and I paint alot, so I decided to make most of my graphics for my game I started few days ago..
And I'd love to able to do a fake 3D environment in my game which would be the following (and yes, I need help in this area, cause I suck at programming)
I can use the panorama function for my background paintings and can implement foreground objects into tilesets so tha character's would be able to get past certain items. (such as tables...) So it works without any programming.
I can use the pixel movement and 8 direction scripts to be able to create more handsome sprites and be able to enhance the 3d feeling.
THE ONLY THING I CANNOT DO: is to make the sprites (actors and NPCs) grow and shrink when they move up and down the screen.
If it can be done somehow, please tell me (I know I can do it with events but it sure will lag a lot).
If it can be done, we would be able (I would be able) to create games like FFIX (except for the battle system)...
And mine would be a lot more unique too...
So please help me, if it's possible. I don't really know the limits of RMXP.
