How do you make screenshots? Do you need some other program to do that?

LOL...

look on your keyboard for the words Prnt Scrn or Print Screen. Press it.
Then go to your choice art program. MS Paint preferably and click Edit. The Click Paste. Resize as needed and save

download Snagit or Fraps, the print screen stuff usual doesn't work. I use snagit becouse it has a lot of options when you make a screen (like photoshop). Persionaly, its better to use snagit then the print screen stuff :grin:

I tried fraps. I never really understood it. Since when does print screen usually not work? Unless you're trying to take photos at high rates when you don't have time to resize and save. Then I would use Screenshot Magic. I like that program alot. It saves a photo and resizes to your active window everytime you hit print screen

With RMXP, print screen works just fine. Otherwise. I prefer camstudio. Yes, Fraps gets perfect captures, but it doesn't work on every game I like. And suffice to say, Snagit doesn't even deserve mention. It can't take proper video, its screens are shit, and its settings are often screwy.

Honestly, I post dozens-if-not-hundreds of screenshots, and I just use Printscreen and paint.net.

Protip: Alt-Prinscreen only captures the open window, which will let you take smaller screenshots if you like.

Print Screen rarely works on my computer, don't know why....
I smash it all the time :biggrin: :box:
but sometimes smashing works :thumb:

If you want to use a third-party program to take screen shots I would suggest using FastStone Capture 5.3. It has many options when taking a screen shot. If you can't find a copy online pm me and I'll send you a link to download it.
