A plugin for recoloring?

Hey guys,
I remember coming across a plugin or action script (for PS I think?) a few years ago which enables user to swap the one color of a palatte for another. It would be very useful for recoloring (and no I'm not talking about hue/saturation changing in GIMP/Photoshop). Anyone has any idea about it?

I don't know, but you can do this in the free Irfanview program.
