That's a pretty good Necropost Image. I wish the admins would put some type of symbol or something by a topics thats over 30 days old. I don't always look at dates. I wish they would just lock all of the old topics, and give the creator power to unlock it when they post something new there. Necroposting will drop by 100%.

we tried that a long time ago. it was annoying and didn't accomplish much.

there's your problem. this is easier to fix.

if I recall we do (or at least we used to) have some form of notification that would happen before you tried to post. it might have gone out with smf, though.

really I don't give a shit about necroposting, but the notification worked alright.
