A bit of trouble with Photoshop

OK, I am trying to use Photoshop to make a sprite, and for some odd reason, when I paste the part I'm using (I'm frankenspriting, then I'm going to recolor it) on the template, it will stop in every place on the row except one-the place where I want it to go. It just skips over it. And it only does it for that one row.

Anybody know what exactly is happening?

You might have helplines and/or grid enabled. Disable 'snap to grid' or 'align' or however that option's called in the English version to disable this feature... should be located in the 'View' tab, but i'm also not sure about that...

Thanks a lot, everybody, the problem is fixed.

But now, for some reason-and this has never happened before-I was working on a sprite, saved as a PNG file, and now it's acting like a PSD file, and is throwing off my chemistry (ie: pasting as new layers, not letting me copy, not saving properly as a PNG, etc.)

EDIT: It turns out it does that when you switch the color to RGB mode from Indexed.
