4-Way Directional Tile Passability

I desperately miss this feature in RMVX (4-way directional passability for individual tiles).  I've seen the topic discussed in a few different areas (mostly discussing tedious workarounds or vague Japanese secret solutions) but am curious to know if any advances have been made in the implementation of something similar using RGSS2 (in English).  I understand the limitations that autotiles impose on this feature but still feel optimistic.  Any ideas/recommendations/news welcome.

It appears that RMVX is a major graphics downgrade. Script wise, I see not much difference. And still, the only real major improvment is vehicles and quick events. A very poor thing I think.

RMXP at the moment seems better. I know they said this when RMXP came out, there's currently more resources and blad-dey blah blah... But theres better tilesets. Prioroty. Layers. Where did Enterbrain go wrong  :cry:

There's no Passiblity editor at all. Nil, zip, zilch.
