The texturing is pretty good but you should work on making your environments more natural. The stones feel very "ice cube dropped in a glass" and that mountain in the background is very ... well it's not very mountain like.
some more nit picky things, when you do a leather texture u might not want to use grunge brushes, his vest (especially in hi-res) is a little but too Tea-stained parchment for my liking. The rest of it's not too shabby. I never got into high-poly modeling, I always preferred super-low poly (think Crystal Chronicles DS) just because a.) i found it more functional to what i wanted to do and b.) I hate waiting for things like this to render.
