2 little things

Can someone please help me:

1. Refrence an ingame variable via scripting.
2. Switch command order in battle (Item, Skill, Defense)

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. And if either of these have been posted before, please let me know. Thank you.

1: $game_variables[number of the variable]
2: Let me play with it for a little while. There also might be a script for it by Trickster if I remember correctly.

Well, I tried that, but It didn't work, so I'm going to explain where I want that.

In the menu, the steps counter is useless to me, so I want to replace that with something that counts AP, which is stored in a variable. I know how to edit the text, but when I placed what you said where it would belong, it errored up on me, saying: cannot convert Fixnum into String.

Use "$game_variables[number].to_s". You can't display an integer, it has to be changed to a string, hence "to_s"
