2 hours Game Creation Challenge

The purpose of this challenge is to create a short game for 2 hours(maximum time) using either VX or XP. Its a good way to become familiarize with VX or XP controls and eventing, I hope anyone would be interested with my idea.

Title: Ban the Adventurer

Summary: The story takes place on a small town outside the capital of Irvin. Ban the adventurer have just decided to stay at a small inn to rest from his recent adventure until one event happens in the town in which he was currently resting in.

Notes: This is just my quick project creation first with rpgmaker vx. I have set myself to finish making a simple game in a span of 2 hours including photoshop editing and resource finding on webs.Normal rtp's were used and default maps were also used. Comments and suggestions are welcome and if you find any glitch or errors in my game please let me know about it.If you wanna join my game creation challenge just reply and we can have fun with it.

Lol its been weeks since the I have posted this project and no comments or notice, I guess no ones up to challenge or pretty busy here. :smile:

I never thought of that... thank you for the notice as of now both versions are accepted,since most people here was still using rpgmaker xp. I'll try this on the 'morrow, it actually sounds kinda fun.

ANNOUNCING TO ALL NEW TO RPG MAKERS (and those who arn't good): This would be a great to do so you can get some critique on you style and you don't need that long to do it.

@becoolioman&NightSway: Im glad more people were participating, thank you guys lets see some stuff you can make with this challenge :box:. Its up to you guys on what style and materials to use but keep in mind that you must have a story already made up in mind(thats a hint...) because it will help alot.

Yeah I forgot to mention im also using a timer -_- so that I can keep track of my time. You can download the file if you want, its a good timer program and recomend this.

If you held this in live time (IRC, MSN), I think you would find more success with the idea. You could still use the thread to post what people make.

Hey thats sounds cool as you can also held the challenge in real time with other members who are in IRC or MSN as you have mentioned. My only problem would be the availability for each of us as we are in different time zones and countries,any suggestions? :smile:
