1st attempt at spriting

Hello everyone, I decided to play around and try my hand at spriting. This is an HK Male, and supposed to be a Ranger/Woodlands Assassin. Please give me your feedback because I rather enjoyed spriting and would like to continue doing so, and in order for that to happen, I need to get better! So here it is:

that looks ok, I'd just suggest moving the eyes a bit further from the center of his face.

Head piece is uneven, the shading is ok... His hands are weird, his leg has a spot that should be covered. Need more detail for the chest. I say make the mouth piece bigger, it looks weird, possibly connect it with the black headband, look better then.

Well, you need to actually use darker color for out lines you know (look at the legs)

And definitely more contrast

Looks okay. Make the background lighter, change the general contrast, imo.
Looking forward to see the side sprites.
