I've tried making serveral custom emotion-animations for rmxp by exporting and editing the 029-Emotion animation set, but each and every last one of them turns out like this.
For whatever reason, the animation appears "faded through".
At first I thought this was a problem with the background in the animation set conflicting with whatever was in rmxp. However, that doesn't seem to be the case; even when removing the background colors from the animation set, the problem persists.
Actually, I recently found that its not just imported emotion sets; anything that is NOT either one of the default emotion animations in rmxp will turn out like this. Even if you use the non-imported, default 029 emotion animation set, the problem persists. I tried making exact copies of the animations manually using the default tileset, and they still turned out like this. I'm completely stumped on whats causing this to happen...any ideas?
