Simplicity in graphical style can be a good thing, if it's based on a choice and not on (as obviously in this case) inability. There are real good looking simple graphic styles, but it's really hard to make them.

If this will ever make it to a demo, I'll certainly play it, since I want to know, if it's a good game. IF it is a real good game, that just uses shitty graphics, I might get over that and enjoy it.

Not that I worry that this is going to have half the quality of mine, but it's really demotivating to see things like this coming up after mine. Don't tell me it was any kind of coincidence, this is too obvious, and right now I feel pretty pissed off.

All I said in my thread that gave the slightest clue of what I'm doing is here. Thank God I didn't say too much.

I anyone wants to prove me wrong, I'd like to see how many projects like this showed up before mine. Of course it's not a completely obvious rip off, but that would be too inexcusable.

What the fudge? Just because I used Microsoft paint that makes me a copyrighter? Bull shet. Gtfo? You used large sprites, and wierd comic things and a guy with a boner, and I don't even know what your game is about. 2nd, That ninja sprite is just a filler lol. I'm using breeze, and small tilesets as well. I didn't copy it kid.

Take an anger management pill. Read through the other posts. I posted that before I looked at your thread. When I realised that they were relatively the same, I immediately changed it.

EDIT: He plays the part of a mysterious black figure, his identity is revealed close to the end of the game, when the plot changes, and Churii goes back to kill him.

Okay, you two have to seriously SIMMER DOWN. You're acting like toddlers here. I don't know whether Map Helper is ripping off of you or not, but the fact is, characters like "The Boss" are used HUNDREDS OF TIMES in movies, books, TV shows, and...*gasp* games! Don't tell me you've never heard of that head honcho that sits behind the chair (sometimes petting a cat) smoking a cigar and leads an underground operation? Stillzero, I can understand why you might think Map Helper is copying your stuff, but even if he is, it's not like you own LEGAL RIGHTS to your game and you can sue him. These are AMATEUR GAMES so it's not something to get all pissy and whiny about.

Let's try to keep this at discussion of the actual project, because that's what PROJECT DISCUSSION is all about.
