Sprites for Critique

These are the first four "custom" sprites for my FF tribute game. I included the original sprites from FFIV, FFV, and FFVI, my old rough drafts and my final* design. I'm new to all this and would love some input.

honestly bro there's really nothing here. from what i can see, these aren't much more than rough recolors of very simple sprites.

i mean it's cool that you're doing something and i encourage you to do more and push yourself further. but at this point there isn't too much to say.

your colors could use more contrast, a lot more contrast—the reds in particular are very flat.
