Well the custom graphics look interesting, but that RTP island in the second screen throws everything off. I'll try the demo to see give more info.

Ok, time to critique(Keep in mind since your game is commercial, I will be a little more blunt with my criticism). Alright, so after playing the demo for about 15 mins, I turned it off. I was preparing myself for a playthrough of an original game with mostly customized graphics, but as soon as I heard the title screen, I knew that that was not the case. The title screen was fine, but the music was not just RTP, but one of the highly overused RTP songs (but then again, all RTP songs are overused). Your game is commercial, and $10(almost the cost for a sponsorship here). I would think that you would invest some cash in adding an original soundtrack, or atleast one original song so the person won't know right off the bat that they were ripped off. Not only did I find that your music was RTP, but your maps were the RTP maps without any new edits or additions, except for the panda. And the panda itself is poorly shaded and uses colors with too high contrast, making it stick out like a sore thumb compared to the other RTP characters and tilesets.

--The grass, logs, and flowers are randomly placed.
--There is a stone on the edge of a hill, that looks awkward
--You used a horrible transparent cloud fog. Try and get some fogs from this site(of course ask for the user's permission, since this game is commercial), and tint the screen a little to improve the scene.
--The sound of the ocean in the background is way to loud and hurts my ears. Tune it down a bit.
--The panda is so poorly shaded and color's have too high contrast compared to the rest of the people and the map. If you want to use him, change the people into his style, otherwise fix him up. (He doesn't really look that much like a panda either...)
--Introduction needs to be more interesting. Try looking at some tutorials or The Discussion about Intros

Your mapping skills aren't on the commercial level(especially since several of the free games on this site easily match if not surpass it). Your custom graphics and custom scenes are the only good thing about your game (Did you do them yourself? They look pretty professional). If I were you, I would scrap the maps and make the game completely custom, since it looks like that is where your strengths are. If not, then invest some time in improving your mapping, adding an original soundtrack, and investing some time/money into your graphics. And I haven't even gotten to your gameplay. From what I played, the gameplay is almost non-existent. No battles, puzzles, events, etc. to draw me in at the most crucial part of your game; the beginning. The game has potential but will need a lot of work to be worth paying for.

The use of bad RTP mapping kind of ruins it.  Everything else though, along with the decent voice acting (gasp) is pretty sweet.  Just wish there wasn't RTP, along with the bad mapping

Lol. I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw this, i was like, "how random", but good job with the custom graphics. They look really good. I'll have to give this a whirl.
