Looking for VEX Sprites

I absolutely adore the VEX template, and I've tried to make my own characters with it, but it turns out that aside from recolors and frankenspriting, I'm absolute crap at making sprites. Mainly when it comes to clothing the sprites. That being said, would someone be willing to clothe these sprites for me, please?

First one completed by The_JSTREET! Huge thanks! ^_^
Woman's primary outfit completed by Crazymew! Huge thanks again! ^_^

The exact outfits do not matter, but it's important to note that this is a fantasy/horror RPG set in a 1920s sort of world. Just to give you an idea of the sort of theme I'm going for; basically, relatively normal clothes for the 20s, but feel free to soup them up a bit, as the game is still in a somewhat fantasy world.

*The second male is a 30-something priest/exorcist. I'd like him to have some sort of a scarf or cloak on, and maybe a visible cross somewhere on his person. Again, exact details do not matter.

*The woman is in her early twenties. If at all possible, I would like her in two outfits: the first, whatever you like, and the second a plain white or offwhite nightgown/hospital gown.

Still needing the nightgown ^^

Possible concepts: Here and here

*The little girl is around 11 years old, and she wears a blue dress, the details of which are up to you.

Also, if any NPCs have been made with the VEX template, I would love to get my hands on some. ^^;

And I apologize for such a long request, but I'm not picky and anything at all that anyone chooses to help me on will be immensely appreciated. ^_^

Thanks for any help!

ALSO! Any VEX spriting pieces you could send my way would be very helpful, so I can frankensprite NPCs and such. Any pieces you send me will be credited accordingly! I primarily need clothes of any sort, especially dresses and skirts. Color is irrelevant; it can be recolored quite easily. ^^

You might want to hang out and wait for Val to release her VexT series of sprites....they're a little more streamlined (IE: No more mitten fists) and I think slightly taller (I may be wrong). You can see examples of the female sprites (completed in her style) over in her project thread.

And to the mods: Please don't delete this topic/warn me :P...I may not be filling the request, or sending them to where it can be filled, but I feel they will probably appreciate the information, since the VexT are basically much better looking that the Original Vex sprites :P

Wait, how mean am I supposed to be here? ;) Hey, it's just as helpful, if not more, than any other possible response. Good 'nuff for me! ~Euph

i wish you luck with this request, jaide... there are a few topics at the top that says like "green raven is taking requests", i suggest asking them maybe... i would help you but right now i am about to go to bed so...

as for what sketch said... i kinda like this older version, although i wouldnt have any complaints to the new one,

Hmm, I can definitely get the first one, and having the hair done makes it all the more easier. <3

I could probably get the priest as well, but when it comes to dresses and skirts, I've never tried those, so I might not be able to handle those. I'll work on them since I've got some time on my hands.

Well you can certainly sprite good hair from scratch. I also find the VEX template some what appealing, i would like to try one but dont get your hopes up im not a spriter so it will turn out poorly ha!

I'm rather interested in where you took your hair and how you got it to fit VEX properly. Perhaps you could let me in on your little secret, maybe even throw a few stand alone hair sets at me (creditted accordingly of course)?

I actually used bits and pieces from the resources provided in the CharaMakerXP utility, which I got here. The editing I did in Photoshop, resizing the hair if necessary. They appear to me to be just parts from RTP style sprites, but the hair works amazingly well with VEX. I wish I could say the same for the clothes. :P

If you should feel so inclined sometime to make some generic NPCs using the VEX template, I'd love to get ahold of some. ^^

Well the good and the bad of it is:
Yes, I am making several VEX sprites for my project, and tilesets to go along with them, but the bad part is they are mostly futuristic and modern-ish sprites, so they won't really fit that medieval mode.

I actually plan on releasing everything once I get it all together. I have a psd file that basically has several layers of clothing, hairs, shoes, template variations, and various accessories. I'm trying to make it to where I can easily piece together my sprites like that.

Thanks for the link.

Well, my game isn't medieval, so I'd be even more eager to see your sprites, when you get around to releasing them, of course. ^_^ I'd also be interested in seeing the pieces you have made up for sprite making, if you're intending to release any of that material as well. There just aren't many VEX sprites out there, and it's a real shame. It's such a nice template.

And you're very welcome for the link. I didn't get much use out of the utility itself, but the resources are nice for frankenspriting.
