Zephstudio - Now 18 Songs (Orchestrated VSTI) (RAR BATCH!)

Hi everyone. Few of you know or would remember me, but I used to share a bit of music on this site a long time ago, but I've since taken down my website with a new direction and not as much time for music production. As such, I'm using whatever free hosting I can find and I'll throw up some songs for anyone to use for their games. No, I'm not looking for a project, I'm just sharing music, and if you like anything here then please check back later as I probably won't be uploading everything in one batch.

Song #1 - The Revolution. This is a song inspired loosely by the Mt. Koltz music from FF3. Don't worry, the slow basic piano is just the intro. Skip ahead to the 1 minute mark if you're just trying to quickly see if it'd suit your project. If anyone wants to use this, I can upload an alternate version that doesn't have the piano intro so it goes right into the song. Makes it easier on maps I guess.

Song #2 - Ancient China. This is one I made for a computer game but we have no formal agreements or legal transfers or copyright, so it's available for anyone to use.

Song #3 - Set Them All Free. This song I wrote for my own video project a while back. Very soothing piano, a bit sad.

Song #4 - Pressure. Fast-paced, potentially a battle, though it slows down in the middle for a bit. Maybe a cutscene, I don't know.

Song #5 - Senka Theme. I wrote this for an MMORPG that has yet to be released, but I abandoned work on the project and therefore took my music with me, so it's not tied to the game anymore.

Song #6 - Desert Ambience. Enough said.

Song #7 - Journey Home. Another piano song, not as sad this time.

Song #8 - Ancient Maya. Same game as 'Ancient China', this song is supposed to be more of a Mayan Jungle theme.

Song #9 - Fall of the City. I don't know how to describe it.

Song #10 - Castle Courtyard. The first song I did, yet still one of my favourites.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/56692225af4ac230/

Song #11 - PVP Combat. I just did this to replace the WoW battle music when engaging in PVP.

Song #12 - Senkan Mountains - Somewhat ambient song for a jungle/mountain theme.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/56692359ed4e17a6/

Song #13 - Age of Nobility - lots of horns! Triumphant!

http://www.zshare.net/audio/56758142d4c233fd/

Song #14 - Everything Has a Cost - Fast-paced, heavy violins.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/56758195cf132cf1/

Song #15 - A Matter of Skill - Battle music again.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/56758230f20f104f/

Song #16 - Scrapyard - metallic but somewhat lively music

http://www.zshare.net/audio/56758269fc9cec16/

Song #17 - March of the Tainted - Ominous, evil march music

Comments are welcome of course, or critiques, though I'm no longer really involved in music creation so I'm mostly just throwing my old stuff out there. I did make a new song the other day, which is the first one in the list, but it's simply a hobby when I'm not at school or work!

Enjoy!

*EDIT* Here's a link to download the full rar of all the files at once (42.64 MB): http://www.zshare.net/download/57260325df5727f5/

Good lord, you're retiring the piano? D;
taking up a new venture, or just uninterested with composition now-a-days?

more great compositions from another great composer. I particularly like the more exotic ones (the mayan jungle and china to be precise) - it's wonderful how you are able to accurately nail these different themes. also evil march music is always cool 8D

i'm sure people will eat these up, man :fap:

You are like my hero...well after Motoi Sakuraba.

Your music is very impressive. VERY impressive. I wish I had sounds like these. It's kind of disappointing about the fact that you are retiring, but at least we still are able to enjoy the gift you have bestowed us which is your music!

XD!

Thanks for the kind words everyone

I'm only retiring temporarily. I spent a lot of money buying the equipment, with the hopes of potentially getting hired by a game company, however small that company might be. But if you don't have a degree in audio engineering or something similar it seems impossible to get any notice. I've sold a number of songs and my profits haven't covered my expenses.

Some day I'll go back to it, but right now finding a real job and finishing school seems the proper course.

This is the first time I've listened to your music and it's great! I didn't have a chance yet to listen to all of them, but the ones I listened to all had a great professional sound to them. You definitely know what you're doing here, and it makes me glad that I do this just for a hobby cause your songs own my songs.

Good luck with the job, it's quite competitive huh?

Zephstudio?

I love your music. I can hear the preview on Zshare. But when I download it it only has the first 10 seconds?

Any help? Because it sounds SO AWESOME!

Hmm, I didn't realize how bad ZShare is for downloading. It worked for me and gave me the full file but you have to wait a very lengthy period of time for each song. How about I rar them all up, and then I'll post it on zshare or any other host suggestions. Probably makes it a lot easier!

Edit* DONE! For now, get all the songs in one rar file here: http://www.zshare.net/download/57260325df5727f5/

Edit: ok i downloaded your pack of songs, listening to them now. im liking what im hearing, top notch professional sounding tracks man. makes me wanna start writing some orchestrated stuff, i have eiderol hq, but i like never use it, i tend to stick to my 8bit noise but this is inspirational

what are you using for hand drums in the mayan one?

i like to use box.net for songs, cause you can stream them as well as download, its really easy to use and the servers are fast, plus the download page for the file is very simple, no ads, etc, i just like it. plus theres no wait time to download the file

i cant stream the songs from zshare for some reason, i watch a lot of movies off zshare with no problems, i think its because for some strange reason vlc is trying to play mp3's on that site, where normally quicktime plays mp3's in the browser for me, its odd, but like i said, box.net is awesome for songs

Gulch666: The hand drums in the Mayan song are Taiko drums, which I think are actually Japanese, but they seem to work okay.

I'll look into box.net, though I juuuuust finished uploading a new song I made today on zshare and I'm going to post that in a new thread. I'll maybe make mirrors to other hosts later on for ease of streaming and update this post later.

Holy cow! Your stuff is great! ♥! O.O! I only got to listen to a few cause I have to shower but omjeezus am I going to listen to more once I get back. Really great stuff here! ♥!

what vsti did you get the taiko drums from, i really like them, cause im going to eventually get around to writing the music for my game and i think i could make some use of them

Thanks everxsnow!

Gulch666 - the Taiko drums are from EWQL's Symphonic Orchestra Gold Pro XP. Almost all my percussion comes from that, though I use Colossus for piano and miscellaneous effects.

EDIT** Oops, I had that wrong. The Taiko drums are from Colossus, which is great for ethnic drums and wind instruments.

awesome thanks, per usual keep up the good work man, altho id really love to see you upload elsewhere, zshare is add heavy and seems buggy on my end as far as audio streaming goes, oddly enough i watch a lot of new movies on there with no hitch, but audio is its own animal, i think vlc it trying to steam them via firefox plugin, i should look into that
