Trevlac Art Gallery

Time for some art. I'll be posting things periodically instead of all at once since I have a lot of works.

Nothung - Sword wallpaper concept. The legendary Siegfried (Sigurd) of the Nibelungenlied's sword.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v410/trevlac/nothung.png[/img]

Eisbrecher - Sword concept. Wielded by the original fictional character Trevlac, it possesses a cooling quality and is of the Zweihander class.

Urannos - Book cover concept. This is for a three-part novella I am writing. First is Novem, then Zyphyrum, and finally Urannos.

If you guys like these I'll post more, including my ginormous wallpapers and website designs. (Edit: Just realized that I goofed, so I added spoiler tags instead of direct file linking)

I came in here planning to yell at you because you used a 4chan meme in your topic title, but this stuff is actually pretty cool. Since it's photoshop work and photo manipulation, I'd be interested in seeing the original pieces that you worked with, especially for the last one. I actually like that last one a lot, it has a really badass feel to it.

More correctly, it was a Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure reference. The vampire, Dio Brando, could stop time with his Stand "The World" and then proceed to throw knives or drop a steamroller for massive damage. That game was great. It became an internet phenomenon way after I enjoyed it as a child.

In response, I'll outline just how much was original and how much was photo-manip.
Nothung was designed by me, the space part was designed by me, but the cybernetic dragon was taken with permission from a large digital painting. It was a while ago so I don't remember where; consequently I don't think I still have the .psd (and if I do it's buried in the depths of my external hard drive).

Eisbrecher is brand new, did it myself. I could post the .psd if you like. It's pretty big though because the original drawing was something of 2000 pixels tall.

Urannos was a joint effort between me and a person on deviantArt. I say joint effort because I've had a lot of photoshop mentors who lay out tutorials on how to exactly replicate effects they've used, and this is one of those effects.

As for more, here are some:

Proximity Eclipse - An experiment with planet shadows that turned into a full-scale space scene. If you haven't noticed by now, that's what I specialize in. That damn nebula background was three grueling hours of brushing...

Nacht Zur Dammerung - "Night to Twilight" is what I decided to call this. A coworker requested a wallpaper for his dual 20" monitors in the style of silhouettes. Originally I finished this piece in 6 hours but I accidentally closed Photoshop without saving. After ten straight minutes of profuse cursing I opened it back up and restarted all of my steps completely. It was all fresh in my memory and I re-did this piece in three hours. It's 90% like the original. Sorry for linking to it but this is just way too big for spoiler tags, even Nothung was pushing it.

Photography Portfolio - Website concept design for a fictional "Gerald White". The four images are freely licensed under creative commons.

Click.FAITH tv - Website concept design for a company called "Click Faith TV" which is a sub-outlet of Clickstream TV. My mother and uncle are in charge of this website, and this is one of the draft site designs I came up with. 100% original in every single pixel.

The photography portfolio site is pretty, but doesn't seem too functional in terms of navigation and content (even though it is only an image so far, you can see there's going to be some problem that-a-way).

Time for moar.

Novem - Book cover concept. The first in a three-part novella I'm writing. This one features the protagonist walking through the river of death to the First Gate.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v410/trevlac/Novem.png[/img]

Keima Kirameki - Ninja character concept. Keima means "Knight" like the chess piece, and Kirameki I can't remember but I believe it meant "sparkling" because that's what I was going for. Sparkling Knight. Done in Illustrator, my first vector ever. Based on Monju from the Naruto fillers.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v410/trevlac/Keima.png[/img]

Rasengan - Naruto special attack concept. I don't know that I liked the background colors but I think the overall attack itself came out decently. From scratch.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v410/trevlac/Rasengan.png[/img]

Digimon RPG - Banner for a Digimon RPG website based on a Korean game. It was to help English players navigate. I had to draw that D by mouse so if you don't like it, go fuck yourself.

*<~# BONUS #~>*
Alice - Old old olllld Flash drawing of a character I have named Alice. Obviously based on the girl from Wonderland, this particular picture was done by drawing freehand with a mouse (about 2 years ago) before I knew Flash had a function to fix lines and make them look better. So this entire thing is freehand with a mouse, ew. Coloring was amateur photoshop.
