Your canvas

for those who work w/ Photoshop and the like, can u answer a few questions for me?

1.) What size do you normally have your canvas?

2.) What zoom frequencey do you start off in?

3.) How do you begin your artwork?

1) Desktop Size (1280 x 1024 / 1024 x 768) or clipboard size
2) Fit to window
3) Usually paste an image. Then fix the levels/curves.

1. Varies. But never bigger than 1200x1200. My ram for the laptop can't handle all that at the moment.
2. Actual Size
3. Start with a transparent background which goes to white or a light shade of grey.

1.) 8.5 x 11 @ 400dpi or 5 x 5 @ 400 dpi
2.) On 8.5 x 11, %50 zoom ; 5 x 5, %100
3.) Make my pencil color light blue and get to sketching.
