Meh why not, what's your story on these games where you can win money? How much did you win, what game, what was your reaction, and etc.? I haven't won anything big, several dollars on the scratch off tickets and probably $5 on the Lotto. Right now I'm attempting to win "jackpot" on Pogo to see their money is real, wish me luck. For now I'm saying that the site is a rip off...>_>

Oh, if you did win big time...care to share any tips (if there are any for these type of games) for people who hasn't won big $$$.

P.S: Ok, maybe it doesn't have to be big bucks, it can be any big prize. A boat, mansion, the world's largest bubble gum ball...anything!

A friend of my mother's won $400 there in the random game jackpots.

My mom & dad are both addicted to that site and play for many hours a day/premium members paying the site for crap, but only got some silly wallpapers.

For my 13th birthday I got 13 $1 scratchies from a family friend and won $30! Woot!

I'm the king of scratch offs.  I don't buy them commonly.  In fact I tend to buy them only if I win from one someone gave me as a gift for like Christmas or something.  But when I win a gift one, I buy one, and I've been known to amass $70 off of chain playing.
Chain playing is when you win $2 (technically a free play), and you play again and you win $4.  You only buy 1, and you continue until you lose.  Often you win nothing higher than $10, or at least I never do, but you vary it up playing different games here and there.

Poke is my game.  Black Jack too.  I rake in a lot of money that way when I have the money to play, but I'm no pro.  I don't have a poker face, because I'm such a liar I don't need to be all "stiff and concerned".  I'm always smiling and having a good time in conversation lol.

Blackjack is your best bet (hah) in a casino, I'd say, once you learn the Basic Strategy.  My first trip to Las Vegas netted me about a thousand bucks in winnings.  Of course, this last time I went, I lost about $500 overall, so karma is catching back up.  I did win $80 in a slot machine though.

(Disclaimer: don't ever play slot machines.  They're a rip off.)

Once, in Vegas as a teenager, as a passing fancy, I just threw a quarter into a slot machine and pressed a button. Suddenly, all these alarms started going off and about $30 in quarters plunked out. I was so tripped out that I'd be caught doing underage gambling, I just took the quarters and ran off :P. It was vending machines and laundry money for weeks!

Back in April I went on a cruise and did some gambling, but I lost absolutely everything, didn't even win once, after like $250. Sigh

I'm usually pretty good at Blackjack but that boat was unlucky, I tells ya. I mean everything ... Blackjack, poker, slots, everything. Even one of those games where you pop a quarter in and you get what it pushes off the little counter it falls on--I mean I lost every time 9_9

I'm not much of a gambler since most of the stuff is designed to make people lose, my dad had a friend who was addicted to gambling, the guy was pretty well off so he was able to bet a few thousand pounds and not really care if he won or lost.....and he did....a lot....
He would lose a ton of money on it but it was okay because he had a ton of money to lose, the same guy recently bought a laptop to play online poker and has begun losing at that too.

The only thing I'm sure of in gambling is that most people don't win so I never really do it myself (but there aren't a lot of places around here where I can gamble anyway)

I won £6 on a scratchcard bought for me on my 16th birthday. I won £56 on a Liverpool game once. I betted against Liverpool (Which killed me) and the least favourites took the cake.

I took the winning slip into the bookies (that my cousin works at) and the lady didn't believe the slip was real :/  I got my money in the end and the fat slob got two fingers shoved in her face.
