When I left, I mentioned that I was looking for something in life (maybe not in these forums, but my website made it clear that I was searching for something). In the past couple of months, I may or may not have found it. That's a different matter.

Right now, I will say that I think this forum needs something. I've lately noticed the way that the staff at other RPG forums (read: RRR) are acting, and it's pretty disgusting. Leads me to realize that you guys aren't so bad after all—just misguided. And no, I'm not here to ask to be staff or anything. I don't want that.

What I do want is for this forum to get out of the hole that it's fallen into. I have to admit it—I've played a role in making this place and I can't let it just fall apart. What you guys need is good, active members. Members who aren't going to post their "manga" in the art forum, members who know the difference between a story and a plot, members who have the sense to at least know what makes a game decent. Members who speak English as a first language. Members who know the right time and place for trolling and going off-topic.

I could make this really long; I could go on about what specifically is bringing this place down, and I could point out specific examples. But I won't bother. I've done what I needed to do, and now it's time to think positive. All it takes is a single member or two to make some good posts and topics here and there, and the community should begin to clean itself up a bit.

See ya around.

And nice emoticons.

And for the one or two people who might not have heard yet: I never did anything with my cousin—it was my way of going out with a bang.

Also that with your cousin was really a bad troll :x
How about pixelation, will you post there too? (just curios)
Anyway, welcome back!

Way to point out the obvious for what this forum needs, bro.

How's Seattle?

I know, bro. I wasn't simply pointing it out—I was saying that I intend to contribute.

Also Seattle's going just swimmingly. I get closer to it every day. Heard about the wedding—congrats man.

I mostly lurk there, but I just took it off my speed dial to make a spot for RMXP.org.

Hey welcome back. I have high hopes that you'll be a high quality member this time around and not just a douche like you've been previously.

Oh, I have to ask, are you still working on Sandfall?

Yes and no—it's on hiatus as I'm not actively working on it (my primary projects at the moment are a musical that I am writing and the novel I am writing for my honors thesis), but I have some vague plans for recreating Sandfall in Action Game Maker when it comes out. I also have a new idea for an RPG game which I am trying not to think about too much—I have way too many projects as it is and am trying to cut down.

Really now? :/
At least on RRR we don't go join different communities to baw about someone getting banned.

I'm glad you know that you've contributed to the way this forum is.

Unfortunately, I find your little dream there to be a bit laughable. Welcome to the RPG Maker community. It's filled with obnoxious dicks and fantards who only want to mock their favorite commercial games. Because the program is easy to use, it will almost ALWAYS attract the more common, less experienced person who doesn't really understand how to make a game. Aside from that, how far are you really going to get with the program as far as joining the industry is concerned? You are better off just using it and making games as a hobby.

Too bad there is a 99% chance that a "single member" has already done that. Why do you think anything is going to change, hoss?

And on the side...
And for the one or two people who might not have heard yet: I never did anything with my cousin—it was my way of going out with a bang.
Translation: You wanted to be an attention whore? There are scores of people outside of this community that actually believed you... Hah.

If this turns into a pro/con RRR fest I'm going to get angry, and you won't like me when I'm angry.
I can see you've only read the first line, but for now I'm not going to say much.

I know, I'm letting Des respond to comments about him, it's his thread. I'm just pointing out that RRR has been mentioned twice now and this isn't the place to discuss it.
