First off I couldn't remember for the life of me whether it was in here or some where else I should post this so please re-direct me if I am wrong, My apologies

Any way here is the HK I did I'm going to covert all of my current graphics in my game to this (more room for detail and such) and was wondering if I should

I know the back looks weird but I can't get it to look right

Since this is pixel art and not an edit or drawing the thread would be better suited in Pixel Art Analysis.

I hope you have a .png format of this saved somewhere. When you save a .jpg the image gets compressed and if you look closely you can see the "dust" which is bad if you want crisp clean pixel art.

You said you wanted more detail in your sprites but your going to have to do a lot more.
Folds in the clothing
strands of hair
ect...

You might want to even use the revised template; pay attention to how the light hits the template.

Thank you for that, this was a basic design to see if I could in fact do a good job at it I completely realize your statement of folds and what not, and thank you I was unaware of the new template but I have kinda grown fond of this particular look (detail but not to complex, I don't want to spend an eternity on one spite sheet, not that that wouldn't look awesome) I was going for a more general lighting I am familiar with shadowing but I'm not sure How I should shadow, and I was wondering as what the color scheme might need to be tweaked. but once again I thank you for you feed back. :thumb:

I think you've done a pretty decent job on the hair. As for the rest of the body, try not to pillow shade, and it will look better. Try following the lines of the shading of the actual template first, see how that looks, then add or subtract to that.

Thank you for viewing
